Hold Me Tight
Doctors and other specialist recommends skin to skin contact with baby’s, Specially the infants. However, this skin to skin to contact is very beneficial for the pre-mature baby. This is the main reason why neonatal intensive care units promote the support of ‘kangaroo care.’ This method encourages the mother to hold their baby on their bare chest from tummy to tummy. This method helps the preemie to relax, which ultimately benefits the baby to grow. Kangaroo care was first introduced in the suburbs of South America, where there is very little neonatal care. But now this method of kangaroo care has made its place to treat the preemie’s worldwide. Kangaroo care is beneficial for full-grown babies as well. Research has shown that the full-term babies with kangaroo care have shown proper sleeping practice, cried comparatively less, made very few startling motions while sleeping in their nurseries.
